Reese Witherspoon graced the red carpet with rumpled, bead-head waves and is a style that is expected to be hugely popular in 2012. Whether your hair is short or long, you can create waves in your hair with curling tongs and sea salt spray.
Other stars with eye catching hairstyles included Nicole Richie, who wore her hair in a ponytail with added volume and looked great with her thick fringe. Michelle Williams dressed up her pixie hair cut with a jewelled head band and Angelina Jolie had a classic, sleek updo.
