Braids, ballerina buns and beehive updo’s are bang on trend this month. Pixie Lott was seen celebrating her 21st birthday in London with braids in her messy yet stylish updo.

Last year, the film Black Swan inspired many people to go back to the classic bun. We will be seeing buns with a modern twist in 2012 by wearing the bun at the side like Charlize Theron at the Golden Globes.

Amy Winehouse may no longer be with us but her beehive still lives on. Ponytails with added volume are right on trend. The bigger the better!
